Role Overview :

As a Pl/SQL Application Support Engineer at MOURITech, you will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our critical business applications. You will work closely with development teams, database administrators, and end-users to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and maintain the stability and performance of our Pl/SQL-based systems. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our applications, ensuring seamless business operations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users, resolving application-related issues and inquiries.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex Pl/SQL code to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and functional defects.

- Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential issues, implementing preventative measures to ensure system stability.

- Collaborate with development teams to implement bug fixes, enhancements, and new features, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including troubleshooting guides, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.

- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

- Analyze and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across applications.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated proficiency in Pl/SQL programming, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.

- Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug complex application issues, utilizing various debugging tools and techniques.

- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and experience working with Oracle databases.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
