About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in banking and payments platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in test automation, API testing, and payment systems, with hands-on experience in validating complex payment workflows and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web and API applications.

- Create and execute automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Playwright.

- Perform API testing using Rest Assured and Postman.

- Validate end-to-end payment processing workflows across banking applications.

- Execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing for payment platforms.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.

- Ensure application quality, performance, reliability, and compliance with banking standards.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous testing and CI/CD initiatives.

- Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 7-10+ years of experience in Software Testing, including 5+ years in Banking or Payments platforms.

- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Test Automation.

- Strong expertise in:

1. Java

2. Selenium

3. Playwright

4. API Testing using Rest Assured and Postman

- Solid understanding of end-to-end payment processing, including:

1. Wires

2. SWIFT (MT/MX, ISO 20022)

3. RTP (Real-Time Payments)

4. FedNow

5. CHIPS

6. Payment initiation, validation, routing, posting, notifications, and reconciliation

- Good understanding of:

1. SWIFT messaging standards

2. ISO 20022

3. FedNow principles

4. Fraud prevention and risk controls

5. Secure coding and testing practices

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.

- Exposure to banking compliance, payment regulations, and financial messaging standards is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification:

- UG: Any Graduate
