Role Overview:

As an Android SDE 3, you will serve as a technical leader within our mobile engineering team based in Noida. You will be responsible for architecting robust, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications that serve millions of concurrent users. Working closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, you will drive the technical roadmap, mentor junior developers, and ensure the delivery of seamless user experiences. Your contributions will directly influence the stability and feature velocity of our core Android platform, playing a pivotal role in our mission to democratize education.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and implement complex features using Kotlin and Java to ensure high performance and maintainability of the Android application.

- Lead the migration and integration of Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) to optimize code sharing and development efficiency across mobile platforms.

- Design and enforce clean architecture patterns, specifically MVVM, to improve testability and modularity within the codebase.

- Optimize the Android Framework and SDK implementations to reduce latency, minimize crashes, and enhance battery efficiency for a diverse range of devices.

- Conduct rigorous code reviews and establish engineering best practices to maintain high standards of code quality across the team.

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions that support rapid user growth.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling large-scale Android applications with 6 to 10 years of professional experience.

- Deep proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with a strong grasp of Android Studio, Android SDK, and the underlying Android Framework.

- Proven ability to implement and maintain MVVM architecture in complex, multi-module projects.

- Hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) to streamline development workflows and cross-platform logic.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex performance issues and memory leaks.

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a track record of mentoring team members and driving technical initiatives in an on-site work environment.

- A degree in Computer Science or a related field from a premier institute is preferred, reflecting a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
