PHP Developer - Laravel/Symfony

Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality PHP applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Coordinate with project managers and team to create detailed project plans for achieving timeliness and 100% quality in each project and deliverables.

- Determine appropriate architecture, technical solutions and make relevant recommendations to clients.

- Update knowledge on evolving development practices and try to integrate them into day- to- day operations.

- Engage in outside- the- box thinking to provide high value- of- service to clients.

- Be actively involved in and contribute regularly to the development community of the CMS (Magento/ Joomla/ WordPress) .

- Develop innovative, reusable web- based tools for activism and community building.

- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

- Proficient in creating Unit test cases with PHP unit and Pest

- Skilled in creating CI/CD pipelines with GitHub actions

- Awareness about implementation of caching servers with Redis

- Should know about setting up web servers with Apache/Nginx

- Proficiency in setting up a Laravel queue server with Supervisor is needed

- Good grip on designing and implementing database structures and schemas (Laravel migration, factory, and seeders)

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define project requirements.

- Writing clean, efficient, and scalable code in PHP

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications

- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability

- Providing technical guidance and support to junior developers when required

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in Laravel development

- Should possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong attention to detail and should have the ability to meet deadlines

Skills and Qualifications :

- 5-15 years of experience in PHP development.

- Proficient in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

- Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Familiarity with database management systems, especially MySQL or PostgreSQL.

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services integration.

- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
