Photon - SFCC/SFRA Full Stack Developer

Job Purpose :

We are actively seeking an experienced and highly skilled SFCC/SFRA Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic Digital Engineering Division. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing robust e-commerce solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform, leveraging the Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA). You will be responsible for both frontend and backend development within the SFCC ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems and delivering exceptional digital experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

SFCC/SFRA Development & Implementation :

- Design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable e-commerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and the Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA).

- Work across the full stack, handling both frontend UI development and backend logic within the SFCC environment.

- Utilize SFCC Business Manager effectively for configuration, data management, and site administration.

- Manage SFCC data (metadata, models, XML data) to ensure accurate product information and site functionality.

Frontend Engineering Excellence :

- Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using Chakra UI and modern frontend development practices.

- Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, jQuery, and Node.js for building interactive and performant web applications.

- Utilize CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) to write maintainable and scalable stylesheets.

- Apply expertise in frontend build tools like Webpack, Gulp, and NPM.

Integration & APIs :

- Develop and integrate SFCC with various third-party APIs (e.g., payment gateways, shipping providers, analytics tools).

- Ensure secure and efficient data exchange between SFCC and external systems.

Quality & Testing :

- Implement unit testing frameworks (especially Mocha + Stryker) to ensure code quality and reliability.

- Actively participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain high standards of code integrity and application performance.

PWA & Modern Web Practices :

- Gain hands-on experience with PWA Kit implementation for building Progressive Web Applications, enhancing user experience and performance.

- Apply a deep understanding of modern frontend development practices to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Version Control & Collaboration :

- Proficiently use version control systems (Git) for collaborative development and code management.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver integrated solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience in full stack web development, with a significant focus on e-commerce platforms.

- E-commerce Platform : Proven, strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and its Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA).

- Frontend Frameworks : Proficient in JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, jQuery, and Node.js.

- UI/Styling : Experience with Chakra UI for developing responsive and accessible user interfaces, along with strong understanding of CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS).

- Testing : Experience with unit testing frameworks, specifically Mocha + Stryker.

- Build Tools & Version Control : Familiarity with frontend build tools (Webpack, Gulp, NPM) and version control systems (Git).

- SFCC Management : Hands-on experience with SFCC Business Manager and SFCC data management (metadata, models, XML data).

- APIs : Experience working with SFCC and third-party APIs.

- Communication : Proficient with both spoken and written English language.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Custom Cartridge Development in SFCC.

- Knowledge of SFCC security practices.

- Experience with OCAPI/SCAPI development for external system integrations.
