Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic R&D Manager to lead and oversee the development of advanced software products in the Telecom / Lawful Interception domain.

The candidate should have a strong background in C/C++/Java/Python, a deep understanding of telecom protocols and systems, and proven experience in managing technical teams and product life cycles from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the R&D/product development team for the design, development, and delivery of high-performance telecom solutions.

- Drive the product roadmap, feature definition, and delivery timelines in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

- Manage the entire product life cycle, including requirement analysis, architecture design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

- Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.

- Engage with customers and business teams to understand market needs and translate them into technical requirements.

- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and propose innovation opportunities aligned with the company's goals.

- Guide and mentor a team of software engineers and technical leads, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

- Coordinate with QA, DevOps, and support teams for smooth delivery and maintenance.

- Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and presentations for senior management.

Technical Skills :

- Strong programming expertise in C/C++/Java, and/or Python.

- Deep understanding of Telecom protocols (e.g., SIP, RTP, SS7, IMS, VoIP, LTE, 5G, etc.)

- Familiarity with network architectures and telecom product.

- Experience with Linux-based development, multi-threading, and performance optimization.

- Knowledge of software architecture, system integration, and scalable solutions.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, etc.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Electronics & Communication, or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience in software/product development, preferably in the telecom or networking industry.

- At least 3 years of experience in team management or project/product leadership roles.

- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

- Experience in customer interaction, pre-sales support, and product demonstrations is a plus.

- Experience working with geographically distributed teams.

- Strong problem-solving attitude with the ability to handle ambiguity in requirements.
