What You'll Do :

- Define and evolve the long-term RAN architecture strategy, aligning it with overall network vision, business goals, and emerging technologies (e.g., 4G LTE, 5G NR, mmWave, Sub-6 GHz, Massive MIMO, Open RAN, Cloud RAN, Private Networks).

- Develop and maintain the RAN architectural roadmap, identifying key technology trends, innovation opportunities, and potential risks.

- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical specifications for RAN solutions.

Expertise You'll Bring :

- Lead O-RAN System Development

- Architect, design, and develop O-RAN components (RU, DU, CU, RIC) compliant with 3GPP 36/38 series standards and O-RAN Alliance specifications.

- Implement open interfaces (e.g., 7.2x fronthaul, E2, A1) for multi-vendor interoperability.

- Experience in developing LTE/5G protocol layers : MAC/ SCH/ RLC / PDCP / eGTP / RRC

- Experience in MAC-PHY integration, nFAPI / FAPI

- Develop and optimize software for real-time and non-real-time processing in DU and CU.

- Oversee integration of O-RAN components in virtualized (VMware, OpenStack, KVM, ESXi) and containerized (Kubernetes, RHOCP) environments.

- Configure and optimize Container Network Interfaces (CNI) such as OVN, Calico, SR-IOV, Multus, and virtual switching (OVS-DPDK, PCI-Passthrough) for low-latency, high-throughput performance.

- Ensure seamless E2E call flows for 4G, VoLTE, and 5G (NSA/SA) use cases.

- Experience in LTE/5G Air interface, especially on the gNB/eNodeB stack development

- Must have good understanding of 5G-NR 3GPP Specification

- Good programming skills in Linux environment using C/C++ for Linux based target

- Strong understanding of RF propagation, antenna theory, and link budget analysis.

- Proficiency in network design tools and simulation platforms.

- Knowledge of cloud-native principles and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) as applied to RAN.

- Understanding network slicing, edge computing, and IoT integration within RAN.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
