We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with over 5 years of experience in developing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of PERL scripts, SQL databases, and stored procedures, with the ability to convert and enhance legacy PERL code into Python. Familiarity with Ansible automation will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

Code Development & Migration :

- Convert and optimize existing PERL code into Python, ensuring functional and performance parity.

- Analyze legacy scripts and refactor them for maintainability and scalability.

Database Interaction :

- Work extensively with Sybase and SQL databases to write, debug, and optimize queries.

- Understand and modify stored procedures, triggers, and views as needed.

- Implement and maintain data handling routines including SQL joins, filtering, and control structures within programs.

Integration & Automation :

- Develop scripts and tools for process automation.

- Leverage Ansible or similar automation tools for deployment and configuration management (optional but desirable).
