Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Changes, enhancements and projects :


- Engage with business and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Order to cash process.

- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW) and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams.

- Configure and support SAP SD processes including order-to-cash, pricing, billing, shipping, and logistics execution.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration, data migration, and interface design development,.

- Prepare test scenarios, scripts, and support SIT/UAT cycles.

- Drive system testing (SIT, UAT), defect management, and support data migration & cutover activities.

- Provide go-live support and hypercare, ensuring smooth transition to business operations continuous service improvement for SD modules and integrations.

- Lead lifecycle management for SD solutions-upgrades, patches, archiving strategies, and audit readiness.

Business Relationship Management :


- Act as strategic IT partner to Global Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Commercial Operations to understand business needs and drive IT enablement.

- Collaborate closely with Salesforce, ServiceMax, and MDM teams to ensure integrated quote-to-cash and order-to-cash processes.

- Facilitate workshops and business reviews to gather new requirements, support capability mapping, and prioritize change initiatives.

- Enable dynamic sales execution through system-supported pricing, discounting, shipping, and invoice processing functionalities.

Innovation, Automation & Transformation :


- Identify opportunities for automation in areas like order processing, delivery scheduling, returns, pricing adjustments, and credit management.

- Standardize and harmonize global SD processes across business units and geographies using SAP ECC capabilities and adjacent systems.

- Enable integration with Salesforce, ServiceMax, and logistics platforms through middleware (Boomi) to ensure seamless data flow.

- Champion reporting and analytics capabilities to improve order visibility, fulfillment cycle times, and sales performance tracking.

Vendor & Partner Management :


- Manage vendor relationships for SAP SD-related support, enhancements, and delivery across AMS and project partners.

- Govern external teams through structured SLAs, project governance, regular reviews, and issue escalation protocols.

- Ensure vendors comply with IT standards, security, and global sales operational practices.

- Keep pace with industry trends, SAP roadmap (including S/4HANA SD developments), and best practices to future-proof the SD landscape.

Basic Qualifications :


Required Qualifications & Experience :


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or related field.

- 8+ years of SAP SD experience, with deep expertise in SAP SD module & related SD processes.

- At least one end-to-end SAP SD implementation experience is a must, with proven track record of working on projects, implementations, or enhancements in SD areas.

- Proven experience managing global order-to-cash processes and integrating SAP SD with systems like Salesforce, Servicemax, and MDM.

- Deep understanding of sales functions including customer order management, pricing, Credit management, Batch management, logistics execution, shipping, returns, credit/debit note processing.

- Strong knowledge of logistics execution, including inbound/outbound delivery, transportation, handling unit management and parcel tracking.

- Experience with integration platforms (i.e., Boomi) for real-time and batch integrations across systems.

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Sales (SD) innovations such as business partner setup, condition contract management, and Fiori applications is preferred.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and engage directly with global business stakeholders.
