Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Performance Testing Engineer with strong hands-on experience in designing, executing, and analysing performance tests for enterprise applications. The role requires deep expertise in JMeter scripting, performance metrics analysis, and close collaboration with offshore and onshore teams to ensure system scalability, stability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and execute various types of performance tests including Load, Stress, Spike, Scalability, and Endurance testing.

- Develop and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter, leveraging Thread Groups, Timers, Controllers, Listeners, and Assertions.

- Implement parameterization and correlation techniques to handle dynamic data effectively.

- Analyse performance test results to identify bottlenecks related to CPU usage, memory consumption, response times, and throughput.

- Manage test data and support dynamic data handling during performance test execution.

- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using monitoring tools and server logs during test runs.

- Track and report performance metrics and KPIs, providing clear insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and QA teams across offshore and onshore locations to resolve performance issues.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies: Load, Stress, Spike, Scalability, and Endurance testing.

- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools, with strong expertise in Apache JMeter.

- Proven experience in parameterization and correlation (mandatory).

- Solid understanding of performance metrics, KPIs, and result analysis.

- Experience with monitoring tools and analysing server/application logs.

- Good knowledge of test data management and dynamic data handling.

- Strong communication skills with experience working in offshore/onshore delivery models.
