Description :

We are looking for an experienced Performance Testing Engineer with strong expertise in Guidewire applications such as Guidewire ClaimCenter, Guidewire PolicyCenter, and Guidewire BillingCenter. The candidate should have hands-on experience in performance testing, workload modeling, bottleneck analysis, and performance tuning for enterprise insurance applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute performance test strategies, test plans, and test scripts for Guidewire applications.

- Perform Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, and Volume testing.

- Analyze application performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide tuning recommendations.

- Work closely with development, infrastructure, middleware, and business teams to resolve performance issues.

- Monitor application/server performance using profiling and monitoring tools.

- Validate scalability, stability, and responsiveness of Guidewire applications.

- Prepare performance test reports and share observations with stakeholders.

- Participate in Agile SCRUM/SAFe ceremonies and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

- Support CI/CD-based performance testing execution.

Mandatory Skills :

- Hands-on experience in performance testing of Guidewire applications.

- Strong knowledge of performance testing tools such as :

1. Apache JMeter

2. LoadRunner

3.NeoLoad

4. Gatling

- Experience in API performance testing (REST/SOAP Web Services).

- Good understanding of Guidewire architecture and integrations.

- Knowledge of Gosu, XML, and SQL queries.

- Experience with Oracle / SQL Server databases.

- Strong understanding of JVM, thread dumps, heap dumps, and GC analysis.

- Experience with monitoring tools such as :

1. Dynatrace

2. AppDynamics

3. Splunk

4. Grafana

- Exposure to cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

- Experience with SCM tools such as Git, SVN, or TFS.

- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills :

- Guidewire Cloud platform exposure.

- Basic configuration knowledge in Guidewire.

- CI/CD exposure using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

- Insurance domain knowledge.

Preferred Experience :

- At least 2 Guidewire implementation/support projects.

- Experience working in Agile SCRUM or SAFe methodology.

- Ability to mentor junior team members and provide estimations.
