Performance Tester - LoadRunner

Job Description : Performance Tester (LoadRunner & Ajax 2.0)

Position : Performance Tester

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner.

- Conduct performance, load, stress, scalability, and endurance testing.

- Work with business and technical teams to understand performance requirements and translate them into test scenarios.

- Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide tuning recommendations.

- Develop scripts and scenarios to simulate user interactions with Ajax 2.0-based applications.

- Prepare test reports, metrics, and dashboards for stakeholders.

- Collaborate with developers, architects, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with HP/Micro Focus LoadRunner.

- Expertise in scripting and executing performance tests for Ajax 2.0 applications.

- Good understanding of web protocols, HTTP, JavaScript, and client-server architecture.

- Experience in monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic) is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of performance engineering concepts including throughput, response time, latency, and resource utilization.

- Ability to analyze logs, metrics, and troubleshoot issues across application, database, and server layers.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to JMeter, NeoLoad, or other performance testing tools.

- Experience in CI/CD environments and integration of performance tests in pipelines.

- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) performance testing.

Education : Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
