Performance Tester - LoadRunner

Job Description :

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, scenarios, and scripts using LoadRunner.

- Collaborate with development and architecture teams to understand performance goals and translate them into test strategies.

- Analyze test results and provide recommendations to improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Use Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and Splunk for root cause analysis and bottleneck identification.

- Drive performance engineering practices by participating in design reviews, early performance testing, and tuning efforts.

- Generate detailed reports on system behavior under load and recommend optimizations.

- Work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.

- Document all test cases, test results, defect logs, and performance tuning activities.

Mandatory Skills :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Performance Testing

- Strong experience with APM tools :

1. AppDynamics

2. Dynatrace

3. Splunk

- Sound knowledge of Performance Engineering principles

- Ability to perform root cause analysis and provide tuning recommendations

- Excellent coordination and communication skills across cross-functional teams

Desired / Secondary Skills :

- Working knowledge of Java for log analysis and backend validation

- Experience in API Testing and performance validation of microservices

Preferred Domain Experience :

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
