Job Summary :
We are looking for a QA Performance Tester to oversee and drive performance testing initiatives across various applications.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in performance testing tools, strong analytical skills, and a passion for identifying and resolving system bottlenecks.
You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure our systems perform optimally under load.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests
- Create test plans, scenarios, and scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or Gatling
- Monitor and analyze system metrics (CPU, memory, response time, throughput)
- Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with dev teams to fix issues
- Provide detailed test reports with findings, graphs, and recommendations
- Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks for performance testing
- Support CI/CD pipelines with integrated performance testing
- Mentor and guide junior performance testers in the team
- Work closely with stakeholders for performance sign-offs and risk assessments
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3 - 5 years of experience in performance testing
- Expertise in tools like Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or BlazeMeter
- Strong knowledge of web protocols (HTTP, HTTPS), APIs (REST/SOAP), and database performance
- Experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, etc.)
- Good understanding of system architecture, microservices, and cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, Shell)
- Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
