Performance Test Lead - Software Quality Assurance

Job Description :

- Experience scripting realistic load/user flows.

- Good grasp of correlation, parameterization, and test data management.

- Integration of performance scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure

DevOps).

- Hands-on with APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Datadog, Grafana + Prometheus/InfluxDB).

- Ability to analyze system-level metrics : CPU, memory, disk I/O, GC activity, thread states, DB

connections.

- Familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure scaling patterns.

- Identify whether issues are in application code, database, network, or infrastructure.

- Use profiling/debugging tools to drill down into bottlenecks.

- Ability to define baselines, compare test runs, and provide data-driven insights.

- Forecasting how the system will perform with growth in users, transactions, and data

volumes.

- Define performance testing strategy, scope, KPIs, and success criteria.

- Align performance goals with business SLAs and user experience expectations.

- Mentor and guide performance testers.

- Review scripts, results, and reports to ensure quality.

- Translate technical findings into business-friendly insights.

- Clearly report risks, bottlenecks, and recommendations.

- Work with developers, architects, DevOps, DBAs, and business analysts.

- Define processes for planning execution reporting tuning re-testing.

- Ensure consistency across projects.

- Identify performance risks early and suggest mitigations.
