Role : Performance Test Lead (Contract-to-Hire)
Were looking for an experienced Performance Test Lead to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. If youre passionate about solving performance bottlenecks, driving scalability, and leading teams toward world-class application performance, this role is for you.
What Youll Do :
- Lead performance testing initiatives for large-scale, high-traffic systems.
- Design and script realistic load and user flows using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, NeoLoad, k6, or Blazemeter.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Work hands-on with APM tools : Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus/InfluxDB.
- Diagnose performance bottlenecks across application, database, network, and infrastructure layers.
- Forecast performance growth, define KPIs & SLAs, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Mentor testers, review scripts/results, and collaborate with developers, architects, and DBAs.
- Clearly communicate risks, findings, and performance strategies to stakeholders.
What Were Looking For :
- Proven expertise in performance testing tools and scripting.
- Strong knowledge of correlation, parameterization, and test data management.
- Solid experience with system metrics analysis (CPU, memory, disk I/O, GC, thread states, DB connections).
- Familiarity with cloud scaling patterns on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Ability to lead, influence, and drive performance improvements across teams.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into clear insights.
