We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Lead to design, plan, and execute performance testing for large-scale, high-availability systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in JMeter and LoadRunner, proficiency with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or Splunk, and the ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across distributed systems.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical proficiency, analytical thinking, and leadership in managing end-to-end performance testing activities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Gather and review non-functional requirements and define performance testing strategy, scope, and success criteria.

- Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner with protocols such as HTTP/HTML, Web Services, Ajax TruClient, MQ, SAP, and Java.

- Collaborate with architects and developers to model real-world load and define system performance baselines.

- Utilize monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana) for performance debugging, bottleneck identification, and system tuning.

- Plan and conduct Load, Stress, Endurance, and Scalability tests.

- Develop comprehensive performance test plans, reports, and dashboards, summarizing findings and optimization recommendations.

- Manage test data setup, environment validation, and coordination with infrastructure, database, and network teams.

- Provide mentorship on performance testing methodologies, scripting, execution planning, and results analysis.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support ongoing sprint performance validation.

Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable) :

- Hands-on experience in scripting and execution using JMeter and LoadRunner, leveraging multiple protocols (HTTP/HTML, Web Services, Ajax TruClient, MQ, SAP, Java, etc.)

- Experience with at least one monitoring and analysis tool such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or Grafana

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Knowledge of AWS, Kafka, MQ

- Ability to write basic SQL queries and Unix commands

- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps environments

- Proficiency in one programming language (Java, JavaScript, Python)

- Exposure to test management tools (ALM, JIRA, Azure DevOps/VSTS)

Additional Requirements :

- Strong understanding of Performance Testing Lifecycle, NFR analysis, and test design.

- Experience in defining performance strategy, test estimation, and execution planning.

- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, networking, and system internals.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills with ability to coordinate across global teams.

- Ability to proactively debug issues and optimize application and infrastructure performance.
