Job Title : Performance Testing Engineer / Performance Test Lead

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Performance Testing Engineer with strong hands-on experience in LoadRunner and performance engineering practices.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in designing, scripting, executing, and analyzing performance tests for enterprise applications using multiple LoadRunner protocols such as Web-HTTP, Web Services, Java Vuser, and Oracle NCA. Candidate should also possess strong monitoring and troubleshooting skills using APM and infrastructure monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform end-to-end performance testing activities including NFR gathering, test planning, scripting, execution, monitoring, analysis, and test closure.

- Design and develop LoadRunner scripts using Web-HTTP, Web Services, Java Vuser, and Oracle NCA protocols.

- Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests for web and enterprise applications.

- Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide performance tuning recommendations.

- Work closely with Development, QA, DBA, Infrastructure, and Scrum teams for issue triaging and resolution.

- Monitor application, server, and database performance during test execution.

- Capture and analyze production workload statistics and replicate similar workload models in test environments.

- Develop customized reusable functions/components using Java and C language to optimize VuGen scripts.

- Prepare detailed performance test reports and share actionable insights with stakeholders.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Strong hands-on experience in Performance Testing using LoadRunner.

- Experience with LoadRunner components such as VuGen, Controller, and Analysis.

- Good understanding of APM and monitoring tools :

i. AppDynamics

ii. Dynatrace

iii. New Relic

iv. Splunk

v. Kibana

vi. Grafana

- Strong scripting/programming knowledge in Java and C language.

- Experience in analyzing server, application, and database performance issues.

- Good understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, file systems, storage, and cloud infrastructure.

- Ability to independently handle requirement analysis, test design, execution, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
