Role Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Performance Testing professional with Apache JMeter and GCP, willing to work from the Bangalore location, having 6+ years of experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute performance test strategies for web, API, and microservices-based applications.

- Build and maintain scalable performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.

- Analyze application performance bottlenecks and recommend optimization strategies.

- Perform load, stress, endurance, and spike testing across multiple environments.

- Monitor application performance using Datadog APM, logs, dashboards, and distributed tracing.

- Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes of performance issues.

- Execute API performance testing for RESTful services, HTTP-based applications, and microservices.

- Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to support performance testing initiatives.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium and TestComplete.

- Prepare performance reports, dashboards, and recommendations for stakeholders.

- Participate in performance tuning, capacity planning, and production readiness reviews.

- Mentor junior engineers and promote performance engineering best practices across teams.

Required Skills :

- 6 - 10 years of overall IT experience with 4 - 5 years in Performance Testing/Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.

- Experience in performance analysis, bottleneck identification, and system optimization.

- Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Hands-on experience with Datadog APM, log management, dashboards, and monitoring.

- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium and TestComplete.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, and microservices architecture.

- Experience in API performance testing and troubleshooting.

- Knowledge of performance metrics including throughput, response time, latency, CPU, memory, and network utilization.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
