Performance Test Engineer - JMeter

Performance Tester

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using Apache JMeter for Oracle Fusion web applications and API endpoints.

- Collaborate with development, functional, and solution architecture teams to understand workflows and define performance test scenarios.

- Work with business stakeholders to analyze production usage patterns and translate them into realistic performance workloads.

- Conduct performance testing, analyze results, and provide recommendations to improve system scalability, reliability, and stability.

- Monitor and correlate application performance with infrastructure metrics using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.

- Apply performance engineering concepts (throughput, latency, concurrency, resource utilization) to validate application behavior under load.

- Support integration of performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps best

practices.

- Write and optimize SQL queries to support performance testing and validation.

Mandatory Skills :

- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with JMeter (scripting and execution).

- Strong expertise in Performance Testing methodologies and tools.

- Proficiency in SQL queries.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Grafana, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics for monitoring.

- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

- Prior experience with Oracle Fusion applications.

Desired Profile :

- 59 years of relevant experience in performance testing and engineering.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to pinpoint performance bottlenecks.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
