Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in load testing, APM tools, and cloud-native environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in performance testing, monitoring, and optimizing enterprise-grade applications. You will collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter or K6.

- Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing across applications and systems.

- Collaborate with developers and DevOps engineers to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations.

- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) to enable continuous performance validation.

- Leverage APM tools (Datadog, Dynatrace) to monitor system performance, generate reports, and provide actionable insights.

- Perform log analysis using Kibana or Elasticsearch to troubleshoot issues and validate performance results.

- Work with Git for version control, ensuring efficient collaboration and code management.

- Apply basic knowledge of AWS services and architecture to test cloud-hosted applications.

- Utilize understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) for performance testing in containerized environments.

- Maintain strong documentation of performance test cases, methodologies, and outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4- 6 years of hands-on experience in performance testing for enterprise applications.

- Strong expertise in at least one load testing tool (JMeter, K6).

- Proficiency in Git for version control and collaborative development.

- Working experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools (Datadog, Dynatrace).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a performance-driven mindset.

- Hands-on experience in log analysis using Kibana/Elasticsearch.

- Basic knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) and cloud architectures.

- Understanding of Kubernetes concepts, deployments, and troubleshooting.

- Practical experience integrating testing within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

Nice to Have :

- Knowledge of scripting/programming languages (Python, Java, or Shell scripting).

- Familiarity with microservices performance testing.

- Exposure to other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
