We are looking for a Performance Test Engineer to assess, benchmark, and optimise the performance, scalability, and reliability of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as Gatling, Kotlin, and JMeter, along with a strong understanding of load testing methodologies and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies, including load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testing.

- Create and maintain automated performance test scripts using Gatling, Kotlin, and JMeter.

- Analyse application performance under varying workloads and identify bottlenecks affecting system responsiveness and stability.

- Monitor key performance metrics such as response time, throughput, resource utilisation, and system availability.

- Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues.

- Prepare detailed performance test reports and provide recommendations for optimisation.

- Support capacity planning activities by evaluating application behaviour under expected and peak workloads.

- Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks, standards, and best practices.

- Participate in performance tuning initiatives for applications, databases, APIs, and backend services.

- Ensure performance requirements are validated before production releases.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of experience in Performance Testing or Performance Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with : Gatling, Kotlin, Apache JMeter.

- Experience in designing and executing load, stress, spike, and endurance tests.

- Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and distributed systems.

- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog, or similar tools.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation practices.

- Ability to analyse performance results and identify system bottlenecks.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
