Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Performance & Load Testing Engineer to design, develop, and execute comprehensive non-functional testing strategies. In this role, you will analyze application stability, responsiveness, and scalability under various real-world and extreme workload conditions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional development, QA, and DevOps teams to discover architectural bottlenecks, evaluate resource usage, and optimize system capacity before software reaches production.
Roles & Responsibility :
- Testing Tools : Strong hands-on expertise with industry-standard load testing tools like Apache JMeter, OpenText LoadRunner, Gatling, NeoLoad, or Locust.
- Application Performance Monitoring (APM) : Proficiency with monitoring and visualization platforms such as Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, or Splunk.
- Scripting & Programming : Solid code mastery in languages required for test customization, such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Groovy, or C.
- Protocols & Architectures : Deep understanding of web protocols (HTTP/HTML), REST/SOAP APIs, Microservices, and cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Database & Diagnostics : Proficient in constructing SQL queries, analyzing thread/heap dumps, and tracking database resource bottlenecks.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of dedicated experience in performance engineering, load testing, or non-functional quality assurance.
- Professional validation such as the ISTQB Performance Testing Certification is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
