Perfaware - IBM Sterling OMS Developer - Java

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and configure deliverables for IBM Sterling OMS-based eCommerce applications.

- Implement omnichannel business requirements using Sterling OMS products.

- Analyze and resolve functional, deployment, and systemic issues in enterprise software.

- Establish best practices for installing, configuring, and maintaining Sterling OMS applications.

- Guide customers through OMS upgrades and solution rewrites.

- Stay updated with new technologies to enhance OMS implementations.

Required Skills :

- 3+ years of Sterling OMS implementation experience.

- 2+ years of hands-on Java/OMS development with SOA, XML, REST, and JSON.

- Proficiency in Eclipse IDE, SQL (Oracle or DB2), and Unix/Shell scripting.

- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, GitHub/Bitbucket).

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

- Self-motivated and result-driven.

- Enthusiastic about learning new tools and technologies.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Perl, Python/Jython, ELK stack, Cassandra.

- Knowledge of Websphere, Weblogic, JBoss, and messaging systems (MQ, Tibco, JMS).

- Supply chain domain knowledge is a plus
