PeopleSoft CRM Application Developer

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft CRM Application Developer with a proven track record in designing, customizing, and optimizing PeopleSoft CRM solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on development skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at implementing scalable, performance-driven solutions, integrating APIs, and maintaining high-quality code standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Development & Customization :

- Design, develop, and customize PeopleSoft CRM modules (Tools 8+) to meet business requirements.

- Write efficient, reusable, and performance-optimized PeopleCode and related application logic.

- Implement Application Engine programs, Component Interfaces (CI), File Layouts, PS Query, and Integration Broker configurations.

API & Integration :

- Develop, integrate, and troubleshoot SOAP and REST-based APIs for system interoperability.

- Configure and optimize Integration Broker for seamless data exchange with external systems.

Database & Reporting :

- Work extensively with Oracle Database for SQL query optimization, stored procedures, and schema design.

- Develop BI Publisher reports and analytics for operational and business needs.

Web Technologies & UI Enhancements :

- Customize front-end interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PeopleSoft Component/Page configurations.

- Ensure UI responsiveness, usability, and alignment with design standards.

Agile Collaboration & Quality Assurance :

- Participate in Agile sprints, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and sprint planning sessions.

- Conduct and participate in design/code reviews to maintain high development standards.

- Perform unit testing, regression testing, and provide post-deployment support.

Maintenance & Support :

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes.

- Work with telemetry tools (e.g., Splunk) to analyze system logs and improve application reliability.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft CRM development experience.

- Strong expertise in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, File Layouts, PS Query, and Integration Broker.

- Proficiency in SQL and Oracle Database query optimization.

- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end customization.

- Practical knowledge of SOAP/REST API integration.

- Exposure to telemetry/log analysis tools such as Splunk (preferred).

- Solid understanding of Agile methodology and DevOps-oriented workflows.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills for working in distributed, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in multi-environment PeopleSoft upgrades, migrations, and patching.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for PeopleSoft deployments.

- Familiarity with cloud-based PeopleSoft hosting environments.
