About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SDET to lead and contribute to our software quality engineering efforts.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust test automation frameworks and driving high-quality deliverables in an agile product development environment.

This role requires strong programming acumen, deep automation expertise, and a passion for quality engineering across the stackincluding API, web, and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end QA efforts for product releases, including test planning, strategy development, and automation implementation.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, and REST Assured.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsProduct Management, Development, and DevOpsto ensure continuous delivery and quality across CI/CD pipelines.

- Write and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and detailed test documentation.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing using both manual and automated approaches.

- Provide technical mentorship to junior SDETs and QA Engineers on best practices in test automation and quality assurance.

- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to release readiness activities.

- Track and report defects using JIRA or equivalent tools, and manage test execution using TestLink, Zephyr, or other test case management tools.

- Maintain strong product and domain knowledge, with a focus on performance, scalability, and security considerations.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong programming experience in Java or Python with proven ability to write clean, maintainable test scripts.

- Solid experience with automation frameworks :

a. UI : Playwright, Selenium

b. Mobile : Appium

c. API : REST Assured, Postman

d. Performance : JMeter

- Experience in automating test cases in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

- Proficient in working with relational databases, writing complex SQL queries for backend validations.

- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile testing methodologies.

- Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools like JIRA, and test case management systems like TestRail, TestLink, or Zephyr.

- Experience in mobile app testing (iOS and Android) is a strong plus.

- Exposure to performance testing, security testing, or accessibility testing is advantageous.
