Role Overview :

As a Penetration Test Engineer at Sysmind Tech, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth security assessments of our clients' systems and networks. You will work closely with security architects, developers, and IT teams to identify vulnerabilities, recommend remediation strategies, and improve overall security posture. Your work will directly contribute to protecting our clients from potential breaches and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their critical data.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct comprehensive penetration testing and vulnerability assessments (VAPT) on web applications, mobile applications, networks, and cloud environments to identify security weaknesses.

- Develop and execute detailed test plans and methodologies based on industry best practices and client requirements to ensure thorough coverage.

- Analyze test results, document findings, and provide clear and actionable recommendations to clients for remediation of identified vulnerabilities to improve their security posture.

- Collaborate with development and IT teams to validate remediation efforts and ensure that vulnerabilities are effectively addressed to minimize risk.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques to continuously improve testing methodologies and maintain expertise.

- Contribute to the development of security policies, procedures, and standards to enhance the overall security program.

- Perform security code reviews to identify potential vulnerabilities in software applications.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior penetration testers to foster their professional growth and development.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on various systems, including web applications, mobile applications, networks, and cloud environments.

- Proven expertise in using penetration testing tools and frameworks such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, and OWASP ZAP.

- Strong understanding of security principles, common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25), and attack techniques.

- Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to security testing and vulnerability analysis.

- In-depth knowledge of cloud security concepts and best practices, including experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Solid understanding of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
