Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Pega Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in testing Pega PRPC applications.

The role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure high-quality Pega-based solutions across complex enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for Pega applications

- Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing

- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and Pega workflows to derive test scenarios

- Execute automation using Pega-supported or industry-standard automation frameworks

- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools

- Work closely with Pega developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery

- Ensure test coverage across UI, business rules, case management, and integrations

- Prepare test plans, test cases, test execution reports, and defect metrics

For 9+ Years (Additional Responsibilities) :

- Lead automation testing efforts and mentor junior testers

- Define automation strategy, frameworks, and best practices

- Participate in release planning, estimations, and quality governance

- Act as a point of contact for testing activities in client interactions

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong experience in Pega Automation Testing

- Hands-on experience with Pega PRPC testing (UI, workflows, decision rules, integrations)

- Good understanding of automation frameworks and test design principles

- Experience in functional and regression testing of Pega applications

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Good to Have :

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution

- Experience in testing integrations, APIs, and web services

- Pega Certification (CSA / CSSA / related) is an added advantage

- Experience working in large enterprise or BFSI / Insurance / Healthcare domains
