Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) to design and lead Pega-based enterprise solutions for large-scale healthcare initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Pega architecture, design best practices, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and development of Pega PRPC applications aligned with enterprise and project goals.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and enterprise architects to define technical requirements and architecture roadmaps.
- Provide thought leadership on Pega frameworks (HCIF, CPM, Decisioning, etc.) and recommend best practices.
- Perform code reviews, ensure compliance with guardrails, performance standards, and security guidelines.
- Mentor and guide Pega developers and technical leads; provide solutions to complex business and integration challenges.
- Define and implement integration strategies (REST/SOAP APIs, Kafka, MQ, external systems).
- Drive reusability, modularity, and maintainability in Pega applications.
- Conduct architecture reviews and performance tuning to optimize Pega application scalability.
- Ensure adherence to Agile delivery frameworks, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Pega Certification : Pega CLSA (Certified Lead System Architect) mandatory.
Experience :
- 10+ years in IT with 6+ years in Pega PRPC architecture and development.
- Proven experience in Pega 8.x platform and modern Pega components (App Studio, Dev Studio).
- Strong knowledge of Pega integration connectors/adapters, case management, data pages, and decision strategies.
- Hands-on experience with Pega frameworks for healthcare, BPM, CRM, or claims processing.
- Expertise in Pega performance tuning, guardrails compliance, and deployment management.
Technical Skills :
- REST/SOAP API, JSON/XML, Kafka, MQ
- SQL/NoSQL databases
- Cloud deployment exposure (AWS/Azure PaaS for Pega) is a plus
- DevOps pipelines (Jenkins, Git, CI/CD for Pega deployments)
Soft Skills :
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience working in healthcare domain (payer/provider systems, claims, utilization management).
- Familiarity with HIPAA, PHI compliance, and healthcare data standards.
- Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) is a plus.
