The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PCRF (Policy and Charging Rules Function) deployments, upgrades, and system integration across telecom networks.

You will play a key role in planning, executing, and supporting PCRF rollouts in multi-vendor, production-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead or support the deployment, upgrade, integration, and maintenance of PCRF platforms.

- Perform installation, configuration, patching, and health checks for PCRF systems across environments (dev, test, prod).

- Collaborate with network engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless integration with core network elements (PGW, SGW, OCS, HSS, etc.

- Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.

- Execute upgrades and migrations with zero/minimal downtime and robust rollback plans.

- Analyze system logs, trace issues, and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Work closely with vendor teams to address bugs, fixes, and feature customizations.

- Document technical configurations, runbooks, and test cases.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- 6+ years of experience in Telecom Core Network Solutions, with 3+ years in PCRF (e.g., Oracle, Ericsson, Huawei, or Nokia PCRF solutions)

- Proven experience in deployment, upgrade, patching, and integration of PCRF systems

- Strong knowledge of Diameter protocol, Gx/Gy/Gz, and policy control functions

- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, and networking fundamentals

- Familiarity with telecom protocols (TCP/IP, SCTP), and core network architecture

- Good understanding of High Availability (HA), failover design, and disaster recovery procedures

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in telecom environments

- Excellent communication and documentation skills

Good to Have :

- Exposure to 5G Policy Control Functions (PCF)

- Experience with virtualized and cloud-native PCRF solutions (VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes)

- Knowledge of DevOps tools and automation frameworks (Ansible, Jenkins, Git)

- Familiarity with OSS/BSS systems and integrations

- Vendor certifications (e.g., Oracle PCRF, Ericsson PCRF, etc.)

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, or equivalent field

- Telecom certifications will be an added advantage
