Role Overview :
The Role IGA Technical Consultant is for a professional who combines both IGA Engineer and IGA Business Analyst role.
We are seeking a sharp-minded and detail-oriented IGA Technical Consultant with hands-on expertise in implementing and configuring IGA Solution specifically SailPoint Identity IQ and RSA Governance & Lifecycle (G&L) solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical skills across Linux, databases, application servers, and web services, coupled with exceptional communication and coordination abilities to successfully deliver complex IGA projects.
This role requires a sharp-minded individual capable of meticulous documentation and effective stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities :
- API Integration & Testing : Utilize and test Web Services APIs (REST/SOAP) for integrating IGA solutions with target systems, performing thorough API testing and validation of data and functionality.
- Stakeholder Coordination : Act as the primary technical liaison, effectively coordinating activities, requirements, and deliverables with various internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Application Owners, Infrastructure Teams, Security Operations).
- Communication & Documentation : Possess Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Thoroughly document meetings, decisions, technical designs, configurations, test plans, and procedures in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Ensure all project artifacts meet quality standards for documentation.
- Technical Environment Management : Install, configure, and maintain IGA components on Linux environments. Troubleshoot and manage interactions with Application Servers (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere) and Database (DB) systems.
- Data Management : Develop, test, and optimize SQL queries for data integration, reporting, and troubleshooting purposes across various database platforms.
- Support UAT, deployment and post-implementation activities in IGA projects.
- End to End Configuration and implementation of IGA Projects (SailPoint IIQ and RSA G&L mainly).
On a high level this includes :
- Pre-requisite validations (Testing APIs, SQL Queries, permissions, network, e.g.)
- Installation and Upgrades/Patches
- Onboarding Applications, connector setup, lifecycle workflow configurations.
- SIT and UAT Support
- KT and Training Sessions to customers.
Requirements :
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of IT security and compliance best practices.
- Must have : Proven, hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ).
- Must have : Proven, hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting RSA Governance & Lifecycle (G&L).
- Strong proficiency in managing and administering systems running Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Experience with Application Server technologies (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic).
- Expertise in Web Services API testing and Validations using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar for both REST and SOAP services.
- Excellent communication skills are mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with various team stakeholders and manage cross-functional dependencies.
- Meticulous attention to detail for documenting meetings and maintaining high-quality technical documentation.
- A sharp-minded and analytical approach to problem-solving and critical thinking.
