Description :

- Design secure, scalable, high-performance architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Lead cloud solutioning across compute, storage, networking, data, security, and managed services.

- Provide end-to-end architectural guidance for modernization, migration, and greenfield projects.

- Create architecture diagrams, design documents, and best-practice frameworks.

Workload Sizing & Technical Estimation :

- Perform detailed workload analysis to determine optimal sizing across GCE, GKE, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and other GCP services.

- Conduct capacity planning, performance modeling, and right-sizing recommendations.

- Translate business and technical requirements into accurate architecture specifications.

Pricing & Cost Optimization :

- Build cost models and pricing estimates for proposed solutions using GCP pricing tools.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities through reserved instances, committed use discounts, autoscaling, and architectural optimizations.

- Advise clients on cloud financial governance and cost management best practices.

Pre-Sales, Demos & Proposals :

- Participate in pre-sales calls, discovery workshops, and technical discussions with clients.

- Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations, PoCs, and architectural walkthroughs.

- Work closely with sales teams to prepare solution proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation.

- Articulate value propositions and differentiate GCP services and solutions for potential customers.

Implementation & Delivery Leadership :

- Provide technical leadership during project delivery, ensuring solutions adhere to design and quality standards.

- Oversee deployment of cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar IaC tools.

- Support issue resolution, performance tuning, and environment optimization post-deployment.

Security, Compliance & Governance :

- Design GCP architectures compliant with organizational and industry security standards.

- Implement IAM, VPC design, firewall rules, encryption, monitoring, and governance controls.

- Work with security teams to ensure solutions align with compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC, HIPAA, etc.).

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience architecting solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

- Strong knowledge of GCP services across compute, storage, networking, security, and data analytics.

- Proven experience in solution sizing, cost estimation, and cloud pricing models.

- Experience in preparing client proposals, technical documentation, and RFP responses.

- Ability to conduct client demos, workshops, and technical presentations.

- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Python, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.

- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Google Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent GCP certification.

- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.

- Background in cloud migration, application modernization, or Kubernetes-based workloads.

- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SAFe, etc.).
