PAM Delinea Developer

Experience : 9+ Years Overall (Minimum 3+ Years in PAM)

Job Type : Permanent

Role Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned Privileged Access Management (PAM) Delinea Developer to architect, design, and deploy enterprise-grade security solutions. With over 9 years of IT experience, you will act as a subject matter expert in the end-to-end implementation and customization of Delinea components to protect critical organizational assets.

This role requires a deep technical understanding of cybersecurity principles, particularly in securing privileged access and mitigating insider threats. You will be responsible for translating high-level business strategies into detailed High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation. Your expertise will bridge the gap between security policy and technical execution, integrating PAM platforms with identity providers like Active Directory, Azure, or Okta and monitoring ecosystems such as Splunk.

Responsibilities :

- End-to-End Implementation : Lead the full-lifecycle deployment of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, specifically focusing on the Delinea suite for diverse client environments.

- Architectural Documentation : Prepare comprehensive High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation to guide the technical implementation and long-term maintenance of PAM solutions.

- Component Customization : Configure and customize Delinea components to align with unique organizational requirements and complex security policies.

- Strategy Development : Participate in the strategic planning of PAM roadmaps for end clients, ensuring solutions address specific threat vectors and compliance mandates.

- Application Onboarding : Collaborate with application owners to identify privileged account requirements and execute the technical onboarding of applications onto the PAM platform.

- Infrastructure Integration : Work with cross-functional teams (IT Ops, Network Security, Compliance) to integrate PAM solutions into the core infrastructure, including Active Directory, SMTP, and NTP.

- Access Control Governance : Define and enforce granular access controls, password rotation policies, and session management protocols for privileged accounts.

- Testing & Troubleshooting : Conduct rigorous system testing and troubleshooting to identify and remediate deployment bottlenecks, ensuring platform stability and high availability.

- Monitoring & SIEM Integration : Integrate PAM platforms with monitoring tools and SIEM technologies (e.g., Splunk, HP ArcSight) to ensure real-time visibility into privileged sessions.

- Mentorship & Coaching : Foster a culture of continuous learning by mentoring junior engineers and coaching team members on advanced Delinea administration and security best practices.

Technical Requirements :

- Delinea Mastery : Mandatory, hands-on experience in the configuration, administration, and implementation of Delinea (Secret Server / Privilege Manager).

- PAM Core Competency : Minimum 3+ years of specialized experience in Privileged Access Management (PAM) within an overall 9+ year IT career.

- Identity & SAML : Strong experience integrating PAM with Active Directory, Azure AD, or OKTA using SAML for single sign-on and identity governance.

- Network Protocols : Practical knowledge of integrating security tools with SMTP, NTP, and DNS services.

- Security Principles : Expert understanding of cybersecurity frameworks focusing on preventing lateral movement and securing the "keys to the kingdom."

- SIEM Exposure : Hands-on experience with PAM-to-SIEM integration for audit logging and threat detection (Splunk, ArcSight).

Preferred Skills :

- Design Depth : Proven ability to author technical artifacts that survive rigorous security audits and architectural reviews.

- Stakeholder Management : Excellent communication skills to interface with application owners and senior IT leadership during complex onboarding phases.

- Automation Mindset : Familiarity with automating PAM tasks (e.g., secret discovery or automated rotation) via APIs.

- Analytical Problem Solving : Ability to troubleshoot complex "access denied" or synchronization issues within a distributed hybrid environment.

- Professional Growth : Active participation in cybersecurity communities and a drive to stay updated on the latest PAM threat landscapes.
