Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to lead and support SAP MDG implementations focused on factory and manufacturing master data. The role involves end-to-end ownership of MDG solutions on SAP S/4HANA, ensuring standardized, accurate, and governed master data across manufacturing, procurement, and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and actively participate in the complete SAP MDG implementation lifecycle, including :

Requirement gathering
Blueprinting and solution design
Build and configuration
Testing (Unit, Integration, UAT)
Deployment and hypercare support

- Design, configure, and implement SAP MDG data models (standard content) on S/4HANA.

- Manage and govern factory-related master data, including :

Materials
Bills of Material (BOMs)
Routings
Work Centers
Production Versions
Purchase Info Records
Quota Arrangements

- Ensure seamless integration of SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing modules, including:

Production Planning (PP)
Materials Management (MM)
Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)

- Design and implement factory master data templates to support :

Global standardization
Future rollouts and scalability

- Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across production, purchasing, and warehouse processes.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to align MDG solutions with business needs.

- Support data migration, data validation, and cutover activities.

- Provide post-go-live support during hypercare phase.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance).

- Proven experience implementing SAP MDG on S/4HANA.

- In-depth knowledge of Manufacturing Master Data in SAP.

- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing integrations : PP, MM, and EWM

- Experience in configuring SAP MDG standard data models.

- Ability to design scalable factory master data templates.

- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data processes.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred / Good to Have :

- Experience with global SAP rollouts.

- Knowledge of data migration and MDG workflows.

- Experience working in complex manufacturing environments.
