Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team in Hyderabad (on-site).

You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software solutions by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, influence quality practices across the SDLC, and help drive continuous improvement in testing strategies and tools.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, API, and backend systems using modern automation frameworks.

- Build, enhance, and optimize test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, RestAssured).

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline) for continuous testing and deployment.

- Execute functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing as required.

- Identify, analyze, and document software defects and inconsistencies using standard bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to ensure high-quality releases and efficient issue resolution.

- Conduct code reviews for test scripts and automation components to maintain best practices and code quality.

- Define and monitor testing KPIs and metrics to assess software quality and testing effectiveness.

- Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk assessment sessions.

- Champion continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and automation coverage.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and testing trends to recommend and implement relevant tools and practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation (preferably in enterprise or product-based environments).

- Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, Appium).

- Solid understanding of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, Karate, Newman).

- Experience in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

- Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Proven ability to analyze complex systems and design efficient, maintainable test solutions.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
