About the Role:

We are looking for a Sr. PHP Developer / Server Engineer with strong backend expertise to design and build scalable, high-performance game services. You will own systems end-to-end from development to deployment and live operations ensuring performance, security, and reliability of large-scale game systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, build & run scalable backend game services (end-to-end ownership).

- Collaborate with designers, client engineers & production teams.

- Build secure systems and prevent cheating risks.

- Develop automated testing, deployment & live operations pipelines.

- Monitor performance, cost & optimize server infrastructure.

- Design data transformation layers & scalable APIs.

- Work on release management and live game operations.

Required Skills:

- Strong PHP (mandatory).

- 6+ years backend development experience.

- Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP).

- Redis & caching systems.

- Database design (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL like DynamoDB/Couchbase).

- API design & cross-team collaboration.

- Experience with scalable distributed systems.

Good to Have:

- Java experience.

- Game backend / gaming domain exposure.

- Experience in performance tuning & debugging.

- Cloud-based game services experience.

- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.

- Passion for gaming.

Skills: PHP, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Redis, Laravel, RESTful APIs and Microservices.
