Role Overview :

As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the core server-side logic that powers our platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps specialists, to translate business requirements into high-quality, performant code. Your contributions will directly influence the reliability and scalability of our services, ensuring a seamless experience for our end-users while driving the technical evolution of our product architecture.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement scalable microservices to support high-traffic applications, ensuring system modularity and ease of maintenance.

- Develop and optimize RESTful webservices to facilitate efficient data exchange between internal systems and external clients.

- Integrate automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment cycles and improve the overall quality and speed of software releases.

- Collaborate with engineering leadership to refine system design and resolve complex bottlenecks in the backend infrastructure.

- Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior team members to uphold high standards of coding practices and technical documentation.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and managing enterprise-grade applications using Java and Node.js in a production environment.

- Proven ability to design and deploy microservices architecture, with a deep understanding of service discovery, inter-service communication, and distributed systems.

- Strong proficiency in developing secure and efficient RESTful webservices that adhere to industry best practices.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies to automate testing and deployment workflows.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to thrive in an on-site work environment in Gurugram, collaborating effectively within a fast-paced, agile team structure.

- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by 3 - 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
