About This Role :

OutSystems is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to work as an individual contributor in a team focused on creating & maintaining Infra on our cloud.

We need someone that wants to get things done, to foster automation and continuous improvement, making their teams flourish in an Agile environment.

As part of maintaining the infra, some capacity in operational tasks (including solving tickets) is required.

What You Will Do Or Key Responsibilities :

- Own and drive initiatives end-to-end, from design to deployment.

- Must have a 'Can do' attitude.

- Ability of foresee & raise future issues with respect to initiative.

- Lead and participate in daily standups and operational calls as needed.

- Document infrastructure changes and ensure proper knowledge sharing.

- Provide production support for your deployments and related systems.

- Review, debug, and improve existing code as necessary.

Qualifications / What You Need To Succeed :

- 8+ years of software development experience.

- Proficiency in Golang or .NET C#, with proven hands-on experience in a complementary scripting language like Python.

- Hands-on experience with containerization (Kubernetes, ECS, etc.

- Strong experience with AWS technologies.

- Great knowledge & experience of AWS Infrastructure level components & Platform level components.

- Good to have experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

- Understanding complex architecture, being able to understand problem statements and provide high and low level solutions.

- Experience with version control systems (code repositories) like GIT and/or AWS CodeCommit.

- Moderate knowledge of Linux internals and Shell Scripting.

- A good understanding of core internet technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS).

- Fluency in English and good communication skills.

- Comfortable collaborating with teammates working from around the globe.
