Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Data Science Manager with deep expertise in AI/ML, Deep Learning, NLP, and Generative AI to lead high-impact data science initiatives and drive AI-led innovation across the organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining the AI/ML strategy and roadmap, leading a team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business stakeholders to build scalable, production-grade AI solutions.

This position requires a strong balance of hands-on technical expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking, with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes through AI.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership & Team Management :

- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

AI/ML Strategy & Roadmap :

- Define and drive the organizations AI/ML roadmap aligned with business objectives and long-term vision.

Solution Development :

- Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning and Generative AI solutions across use cases.

Model Development & Deployment :

- Build and optimize models using Classical ML, Deep Learning, NLP, and Generative AI techniques.

Generative AI & LLM Applications :

- Develop applications leveraging LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and semantic search.

Cross-functional Collaboration :

- Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.

MLOps & Scalability :

- Implement best practices for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management using MLOps tools.

Innovation & Research :

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and drive adoption of cutting-edge technologies.

Key Skills & Requirements :

Experience :

- 15+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence

Technical Expertise :

- Strong hands-on experience in Classical ML, Deep Learning, NLP, and Generative AI

- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, Hugging Face, LangChain

- Experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and semantic search

Cloud & Tools :

- Exposure to cloud platforms Azure / AWS / GCP

- Experience with MLOps frameworks and deployment pipelines

- Familiarity with Azure AI, Copilot Studio, Cognitive Services, or Azure AI Foundry is a plus

Leadership :

- Proven experience in leading teams and delivering AI solutions at scale

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working on enterprise-scale AI/ML implementations

- Exposure to GenAI-based product development

- Prior experience in high-growth or product-driven environments
