Job Profile :
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead and transform our Campaign Manager engineering team.
This is a critical leadership position that requires both deep technical expertise and strong people management skills.
You will be responsible for building and scaling our engineering practices while ensuring our platform evolves from custom implementations to a robust, scalable product architecture.
The ideal candidate will bring a balance of hands-on technical leadership and team management experience, with a proven track record of establishing engineering excellence in fast-paced product companies.
You will be instrumental in standardizing our development processes, improving code quality, and accelerating feature delivery while building a high-performing, motivated engineering team.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Leadership (60%) :
Architecture & Technical Strategy :
- Define technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Drive architectural decisions.
- Champion microservices/monolithic architecture and API-first design principles to enable platform extensibility.
- Establish technical standards for AI/ML model integration and conversational flow design.
Engineering Excellence :
- Implement and enforce code review processes and quality gates.
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
- Automated testing frameworks.
- Define SLAs, monitoring strategies, and incident response procedures.
- Champion technical debt reduction and system optimization initiatives.
Technical Decision Making :
- Review and approve technical designs and architectural decisions.
- Conduct technical deep-dives to validate engineering solutions.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance during critical implementations.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies and tools to improve productivity.
Hands-On Engineering :
- Lead by example through active contribution to the codebase, particularly on critical features and complex technical challenges.
- Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact feature from design through deployment to production.
- Write production-quality code that sets the standard for the team.
- Participate in resolving production incidents when needed.
- Stay updated with the latest technology stack.
People Management (20%) :

- Build, mentor, and retain a world-class engineering team.
- Conduct regular 1 : 1s, performance reviews, and career development discussions.
- Create individual development plans and growth opportunities for team members.

- Implement effective onboarding processes for new engineers.
Performance Management :
- Establish clear performance metrics and accountability frameworks.

Process & Delivery (20%) :
Development Process Optimization :
- Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies tailored to our team's needs.
- Establish sprint planning, estimation, and velocity tracking processes.
- Define and track engineering KPIs.
- Create efficient workflows for feature development, bug fixes, and releases.
- Implement effective project management and communication protocols.
Cross-functional Collaboration :
- Translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with Program managers to understand the requirements.
- Work with Customer Success and QA to establish comprehensive testing strategies.
- Interface with executive leadership on technical strategy and resource planning.
Required Qualifications :
Technical Expertise :
- 3+ years of software engineering experience with at least 1 years in a management role.
- Strong hands-on coding skills in modern programming languages (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or Java).
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Experience with AI/ML systems, NLP, or conversational AI platforms.
- Expertise in system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in modern DevOps practices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code.
Leadership Experience :
- Proven track record of managing engineering teams.
- Experience in transforming engineering cultures and practices.
- Successfully led technical migrations or major refactoring initiatives.
- Experience establishing engineering processes from scratch or significantly improving existing ones.
- Track record of hiring, developing, and retaining top engineering talent.
Domain Knowledge (Preferred) :
- Experience with conversational AI, chatbots, or voice assistants.
- Understanding of NLP, intent recognition, LLMs.
- Experience in B2B enterprise software development.
