Job Title : Oracle WMS Fusion Consultant

Location : Remote

Duration : 6 months contract + extendable

Experience : 5+ years

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design and Implementation :

- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle WMS solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements.

- Develop and configure Oracle WMS modules including inventory management, order management, shipping, and receiving.

- Work with cross-functional teams (business users, IT teams, and other consultants) to define system requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Client Engagement :

- Engage with clients to understand their business processes, pain points, and objectives for warehouse management.

- Provide functional expertise to clients by advising them on best practices for warehouse and inventory management.

- Develop functional specifications, process flows, and assist clients in defining requirements and testing strategies.

System Integration :

- Integrate Oracle WMS with other Oracle applications (such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud SCM) and third-party systems (e.g., transportation management systems, robotics).

- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth system integration and data flow between systems.

Configuration and Customization :

- Configure Oracle WMS features such as location management, picking strategies, RF devices, inventory accuracy, and cycle counting processes.

- Implement customizations and extensions to meet client-specific business needs while ensuring the systems stability and scalability.

Training and Support :

- Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients on Oracle WMS functionality and best practices.

- Offer post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and resolve system issues to ensure optimal performance.

Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in Oracle WMS consulting, with a proven track record of successful Oracle WMS implementations and optimization projects.

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Warehouse Management and Oracle Supply Chain modules (Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud, or Oracle Fusion).

- Deep understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and supply chain processes.

Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS, Oracle SCM Cloud, or Oracle Fusion, and its integration with other Oracle products.

- Experience in using SQL, PL/SQL for data extraction, reporting, and customizations.

- Experience with RF (Radio Frequency) systems, barcode scanning, and mobile devices in Oracle WMS.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Oracle Certifications in WMS and Supply Chain Management are a plus.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a collaborative environment with clients, functional teams, and technical teams.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Oracle WMS Cloud experience.

- Knowledge of related Oracle solutions (Oracle EBS, Oracle Transportation Management, Oracle Inventory, etc.).

- Experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

- Experience in process re-engineering and process improvement projects.
