Oracle WAM/WACS Consultant

Role : Oracle WAM/WACS.

Experience Preferred : 7+ Years.

Location : Remote.

Job Description :

- Analyze and define business and technical workflows related to rewire events and processes.

- Understand and define billing rules, event triggers, and transformation logic.

- Develop extraction routines and transformation scripts for WAMS data.

- Lead the design and development of integration components between WAMS and CC&B using Oracle Service Bus (OSB).

- Develop, test, and deploy web services for both consuming and exposing data from Oracle DB.

- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and traceability across systems.

- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and system integrators to ensure seamless implementation and delivery.

- Participate in technical design sessions, code reviews, and performance tuning.

- Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot data integration and processing issues.

- Document all integration flows, configurations, and transformation logic clearly.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Deep hands-on expertise in data integration, data migration, and data transformation between Oracle Utilities platforms.

- Strong technical knowledge in :

1. Oracle Service Bus (OSB).

2. Web Services (SOAP/REST).

3. Oracle SQL/PLSQL.

4. XML/XSLT.

- Experience in building scalable and robust integration components using middleware technologies.

- Proficiency in troubleshooting, analyzing logs, and resolving technical issues across environments.

- Strong understanding of utility business processes, especially rewire billing, asset tracking, and service workflows.

- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with other Oracle Utilities products like MDM or NMS is a plus.

- Prior experience with large-scale utility transformation or modernization projects.
