Job Summary :
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of total IT experience and hands-on expertise in at least one to two full-cycle Oracle Utilities implementations.
This role demands a combination of technical leadership, solutioning skills, presales support, and client engagement capabilities, making it suitable for consultants who are passionate about delivering enterprise-grade utility solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Implementation & Technical Expertise :
- Lead and contribute to full lifecycle implementation projects in Oracle Utilities (preferably CC&B).
- Configure and customize Oracle CC&B to meet business and client-specific requirements.
- Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for Oracle CC&B applications.
- Collaborate with integration teams to manage SOA-based integrations between OUAF products and external systems.
Solution Design & Delivery :
- Develop tailored solutions, leveraging Oracle Utilities products and ensuring best practices.
- Deliver flawless solutions aligned with client expectations, timelines, and budgets.
- Support the deployment, testing, and rollout phases for Oracle CC&B implementations.
Pre-Sales & Client Engagement :
- Prepare and present operational value propositions to customers during discovery and proposal phases.
- Provide technical consultation during RFP/RFI processes, demos, and workshops.
Innovation & Thought Leadership :
- Bring in thought leadership to optimize business processes and technical architecture.
- Develop client-specific reusable assets and best practices to enhance delivery efficiency.
Team Mentorship & Coordination :
- Foster a culture of collaboration and proactive employee engagement.
- Work in onsite-offshore delivery models, ensuring clear communication and task ownership across teams.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Minimum 1-2 full lifecycle implementations in Oracle Utilities applications.
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle UGBU products, especially CC&B.
- Good knowledge of the OUAF (Oracle Utilities Application Framework).
- Experience working with SOA-based integration of Oracle Utility products.
- Familiarity with Oracle Utility Analytics.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance-tuning skills.
- Prior experience supporting pre-sales activities, proposals, and solution demonstrations.
- Strong client interaction skills and ability to understand complex business processes.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to travel on short and long-term assignments as required
