Oracle Utilities Administrator - MDM Module

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Utilities Administrator with a strong background in administering Oracle Utilities applications such as Oracle CC&B, MDM, C2M, and associated Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) components like SOA, OSB, ODI, and Oracle Analytics Server.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with application installations, environment configurations (clustered and non-clustered), system integrations, patching, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.

The candidate will also collaborate closely with infrastructure, DBA, and server admin teams and must demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities in utility application environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Installation & Configuration :

Perform installations of Oracle Utilities applications including :

- Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CC&B)

- Oracle Meter Data Management (MDM)

- Oracle Customer to Meter (C2M)

- Oracle Fusion Middleware Applications (SOA, OSB, ODI)

Oracle Analytics Server :

- Set up and configure clustered and non-clustered environments.

- Configure Thread Pool Workers (TPWs) for optimal performance.

Administration & Support :

- Provide administration, monitoring, and maintenance of Oracle Utilities environments.

Administer integrations between :

- Head-End Systems (HES) and MDM

MDM and CC&B :

- Troubleshoot issues in WebLogic Server and Oracle utility applications (CC&B, MDM, C2M).

- Perform CMA Import/Export, Java code deployment, Bundles, and Blueprints deployments.

- Apply patches and updates for WebLogic, CC&B, MDM, and C2M environments.

Release & Deployment Management :

- Manage code/configuration deployment, release versioning, and rollback procedures.

- Ensure compliance with OUAF (Oracle Utilities Application Framework) standards.

- Coordinate and support release management, version control, and maintenance schedules.

Collaboration & Communication :

Collaborate with :

- Infrastructure teams

- Database Administrators

- Server Administrators

- Clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and delivery.

- Support other team members with technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Oracle Utilities Administrator.

Strong hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and administration of :

- Oracle CC&B, MDM, and C2M

- Oracle Fusion Middleware applications (SOA, OSB, ODI)

- Oracle Analytics Server

Solid understanding of :

- Oracle WebLogic Server Administration

- Thread Pool Workers (TPWs)

- OUAF Framework

Experience with :

- Patch management and upgrades

- System integration between HES-MDM-CC&B

- Code and configuration deployments using CMAs, Bundles, Blueprints

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of release and maintenance management practices.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
