Role Overview :
The role involves close collaboration with project teams, business stakeholders, and DBAs to deliver end-to-end technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance with standards, and the successful implementation of Oracle HCM products.
Key Responsibilities :
- Liaise with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to evaluate and implement Cloud-based Oracle HCM and Talent Management
solutions.
- Manage project activities, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones including testing and training.
- Protect organizational intellectual property by adhering to security and compliance standards.
- Follow company policies and standard operating procedures throughout solution design and delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and share relevant data.
- Perform data loading, migration, and updates using HCM Data Loader (HDL).
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Oracle BI Publisher.
- Create and manage HCM extracts and integrations to support business processes.
- Document development activities, technical designs, and system configurations for future reference.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and resolution for Oracle HCM applications, including incident reporting and analysis.
- Work with DBAs and Business Analysts to identify, diagnose, and resolve system issues efficiently.
- Support data modeling, reporting solutions, and the design of new reports and forms as per business needs.
- Provide continuous feedback on project/task progress, suggesting alternatives to meet timelines and objectives.
- Utilize Oracle MetaLink to identify solutions, log Service Requests (SRs), and follow up with Oracle support.
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure accuracy and reliability of solutions.
- Provide ongoing post-production support for Oracle HCM technical requirements.
Technical Skills and Qualifications :
- Proficiency in developing and customizing reports using BI Publisher.
- Strong experience with HCM Data Loader (HDL) for data migration and updates.
- Knowledge of HCM Extracts and integration with other applications.
- Expertise in data modeling, architecture, and SQL/PLSQL development.
- Experience with Oracle Fast Formulas, OTBI, and HCM security configuration is an advantage.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Oracle Cloud technical issues effectively.
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion middleware, web services (SOAP/REST), and integration technologies.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and project documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant) preferred
