Oracle SOA/OSB Developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SOA and Oracle Service Bus (OSB) Developer with 06 to 08 years of hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and managing service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex integrations using Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies.

This role demands deep technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive mindset for delivering high-quality enterprise integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy integration services using Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediator, Business Rules) and Oracle Service Bus (OSB).

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable integration solutions.

- Develop and maintain SOAP and RESTful web services, message transformations, and error handling frameworks.

- Lead technical discussions, solution design sessions, and code reviews with internal teams and external stakeholders.

- Work with XSLT, XML, XQuery, XPath, and WSDL for message transformation and service definitions.

- Optimize performance of integration services and troubleshoot complex issues across systems and services.

- Collaborate with QA and DevOps to support end-to-end testing and deployment.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and review their deliverables.

- Maintain documentation for integration processes, technical designs, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 6 to 08 years of professional experience in Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Service Bus (OSB) development.

- Strong experience in BPEL, Mediators, Business Rules, Human Task, and Adapters (File, DB, JMS, FTP, etc.)

- Deep knowledge of SOA design patterns, integration architecture, and middleware best practices.

- Proficient in web service standards : XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP, REST, and security protocols.

- Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server and Enterprise Manager (EM) for monitoring and troubleshooting.

- Strong skills in debugging, performance tuning, and problem resolution.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certification in Oracle SOA Suite or Fusion Middleware.

- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or migrating from on-prem SOA to cloud.

- Familiarity with Java, JMS, OAuth/SAML, and enterprise security models.

- Experience with version control (Git, SVN) and build tools (Maven, Jenkins).
