Description :

- Exp 5-8 years. Implementation of observability solutions using OCI's native tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Understanding and configuration knowledge of cloud native metrics, alarms, and dashboards in OCI Monitoring and Logging.

- Logging Analytics knowledge to assist in troubleshooting of service issues.

- Configure and monitor application performance and user experience using APM.

- Patching, vulnerability detection, and scripting knowledge (Shell/Python).

- Implement governance policies, optimise cloud spending, and perform capacity planning using OCI tools.

- Configuring and supporting security posture management by implementing controls with Cloud Guard and ensuring secure data handling through Identity and Access Management policies.

- Integration of third-party tools and connect using APIs, SDKs, and service connectors.

- Work with cross-functional teams, share best practices, and assist customers in their observability journey.

- Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise manager for database monitoring, administration and migration of EM infra.

- Provision, configure, and manage resources on AWS and OCI, including EC2, S3, compute instances, storage, networking, and databases.

- Implement and maintain security controls and compliance measures in accordance with best practices.

- Monitor AWS and OCI services to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS and OCI resources, including connectivity, performance, and access controls.

- Plan and execute cloud migrations, upgrades, and expansions in coordination with stakeholders.

- Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for cloud resources.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate cloud services with existing infrastructure and applications.

- Stay up to date with AWS and OCI features, evaluating and recommending improvements.

- Handle networking concepts and protocols, including VPC, Fast Connect, LB, VPN, VCN, security lists, NSG, and gateways.

- Troubleshoot compute, storage, database, and serverless components, including EC2, VM, RDS, Lambda, EFS, S3/Object Storage, EDR, FSS, and auto-scaling.

- Support problem management, post-incident reviews, and RCA processes.

- Resolve customer issues via telephone, email, or remote sessions and escalate as necessary.

- Maintain case documentation, SLA adherence, and operational metrics.
