About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA) / Oracle Policy Automation (OPA) Consultant to lead and deliver robust rule-based decisioning and automation solutions for enterprise applications.


The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in OIA, a deep understanding of rules authoring, advanced integration scenarios, and the ability to architect scalable OIA-driven solutions aligned with enterprise Oracle ecosystems.


This role involves extensive collaboration across business, functional, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end implementations with high accuracy and performance.


Key Responsibilities :


OIA / OPA Implementation & Solution Delivery :


- Lead and execute end-to-end Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA) implementations, including discovery, rules modeling, solution design, testing, and deployment.


- Translate complex business policies, compliance requirements, and rating logic into OIA rules, decision models, interviews, and assessments.


- Build and optimize OIA rulebases using best practices, modular rule design, and maintainable logic configurations.


Rules Authoring & Decision Modeling :


- Develop, configure, and maintain OIA/OPA rulebases, including decision models, data models, entities, and attributes.


- Implement rulesets, global rules, functions, calculations, validations, and advanced rule-driven workflows.


- Perform impact analysis and version management of rulebases for continuous updates and regulatory changes.


Technical Architecture & Integration :


- Collaborate with architects and backend development teams to design scalable OIA architecture aligned with enterprise technical standards.


- Integrate OIA rulebases with Oracle Cloud Applications, Oracle subledgers, REST/SOAP services, API gateways, and external business systems.


- Ensure optimal performance, data integrity, and secure communication between OIA and downstream systems.


Enterprise Application Enablement :


- Work with functional teams to map business processes to OIA rules and identify automation and decisioning opportunities.


- Develop end-to-end solutions that integrate OIA with Oracle Financials, ERP modules, custom applications, or other enterprise platforms.


- Provide technical guidance on OIA deployment patterns, environment setup, configuration management, and release strategies.


Quality Assurance & Governance :


- Conduct thorough unit testing, regression testing, and scenario validation for OIA rulebases.


- Ensure compliance with organization-wide coding, documentation, and configuration governance standards.


- Review and optimize existing OIA implementations for efficiency, maintainability, and performance improvements.


Required Skills & Competencies :


Technical Skills :


- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA) and Oracle Policy Automation (OPA).


- Expertise in OIA rules modeling, interview design, dynamic assessments, and structured rule authoring.


- Proficiency in XML, JSON, REST/SOAP Web Services, and API-based integrations.


- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Applications, Oracle ERP Financials, or subledger integration frameworks.


- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other middleware tools is an advantage.


- Understanding of enterprise architecture, security models, and scalable design principles.


Functional & Domain Skills :


- Ability to interpret complex business policies, compliance rules, tax/rating logic, and custodial accounting scenarios.


- Experience delivering rule-driven solutions for finance, insurance, public sector, or regulatory domains is preferred.


Behavioral Competencies :


- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with a detail-oriented mindset.


- Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams.


- Capable of working independently and leading implementations with minimal oversight.


Education :


- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
