Key Responsibilities :
- Configure OIC adapters: REST, SOAP, FTP, HCM.
- Develop app-driven orchestration and scheduled integrations in OIC.
- Handle error management using global fault handling and scope-level error handling.
- Analyze and manage error instances in OIC; automate email notifications for integration errors.
- Perform migration of OIC packages across environments (export/import).
- Clone, activate, and test integrations in OIC.
- Work with position-based files and manage lookups (export, import, update, delete, clone).
- Call reports from within OIC integrations.
- Use stage file actions for reading individual and segmented data files.
- Perform list/write/zip/unzip operations using stage activity in OIC.

Job Summary
The OIC Developer will design, develop, configure, and maintain integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this role ensures seamless data/network flow between cloud and on-premise systems, supports full-lifecycle integration projects, and ensures high performance and security.
Key Responsibilities
1. Integration Design & Development
- Analyze business requirements, source?to?target mappings, and integration use cases.
- Design, build, and configure integration flows using OIC componentsOrchestrations, REST/SOAP adapters, mappings, and connections
- Leverage pre-built adapters and connections for Oracle SaaS apps (ERP, HCM, EPM, CPQ) and
- Implement data transformations, error handling, routing, and enrichment logic within OIC.
2. Testing & Performance Optimization
- Conduct unit, system, and integration testing for all developed integrations
- Optimize integration performancetune connections, mappings, orchestrations, and concurrency parameters

- Troubleshoot issues and monitor runtime integrations via dashboards and logs.
3. Deployment & Lifecycle Management
- Support CI/CD processespackage deployment artifacts, configure runtime stages (dev/test/prod)
- Maintain and update integrations post-deployment, including version control, migration, and rollback strategies.
4. Collaboration & Documentation
- Collaborate with architects, functional analysts, and enterprise stakeholders to refine requirements and align on solution design.
- Document technical design specifications, integration diagrams, error handling flow, test plans, and operational runbooks
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to developers, testers, and support teams.
5. Governance & Best Practices
- Enforce data security, privacy, and compliance standards within integration flows
- Establish coding, naming, and architectural best practices for OIC integrations.
- Support enterprise governanceensure auditable, maintainable, and scalable integration artifacts.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Education & Experience :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud
- Experience delivering at least one full end-to-end Oracle cloud integration project (PaaS/SaaS).
Technical Skills :
- Proficiency with OIC components: Orchestrations, mappings, adapters (REST, SOAP, File), and connections
- Solid background in Oracle SOA Suite / BPEL / OSB (11g/12c) and XML technologies (WSDL, XSD)
- Expertise with web services (REST/SOAP), JSON, XML, and API?based integration patterns.
- Skilled in SQL/PL?SQL and Oracle DB tuning, ideally ATP.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible.
- Agile/Scrum development approach.
Soft Skills :
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to be client-facing.
- Team-oriented, with capability to mentor junior staff and lead projects.
Preferred/Plus Skills :
- Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) adeptness
- Experience with Oracle SaaS conversion tools (FBDI, HDL), BI Publisher, OTBI.
- Certifications in OIC, Oracle SOA, or cloud integration accelerators.
- Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Familiarity with global implementations and support for production-critical enterprise integrations.
