Job Overview :
The ideal candidate should have in-depth expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), PL/SQL, and Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM modules, along with a strong understanding of APIs, web services, and integration patterns.
This role requires both development and maintenance support capabilities, working closely with cross-functional teams during US hours when necessary.
Key Responsibilities :
- Integration Development: Design, develop, and implement integrations across Oracle ERP, HCM, and EPM applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Maintenance & Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and production support for 30+ OIC integrations between Oracle ERP, HCM, and EPM platforms. Address production issues proactively and ensure uptime during US business hours.
- API & Web Services Management: Develop and manage integrations leveraging REST APIs, SOAP, Web Services, and OAuth authentication protocols. Handle WSDL-based service integrations as needed.
- Database Development: Develop and optimize PL/SQL scripts to support data transformations and backend logic within integration workflows.
- Reports & Data Load Tools: Work with Oracle tools such as BI Reports, HDL (HCM Data Loader), FBDI (File-Based Data Import), and ADFDi for data loading, transformation, and reporting.
- Testing & Documentation: Conduct unit testing, support QA with integration testing, resolve test case failures, and provide technical clarifications. Prepare and update comprehensive technical and functional documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, business users, and QA teams to understand requirements, resolve issues, and deliver robust solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of existing integrations and propose optimizations to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Additional Technologies (Desirable): Engage with VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service) and/or Oracle APEX for building complementary applications, if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Experience :
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC 3).
- 3-4 years of PL/SQL development expertise.
Technical Proficiency :
- Proficiency with Oracle BI Reports, HDL, FBDI, ADFDi.
ERP & Cloud Knowledge :
- Exposure to EPM integrations is a significant plus.
Additional Skills :
- Oracle Certification (OIC, ERP Cloud, or related) will be an advantage.
Soft Skills :
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Flexibility to support US working hours when required.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Oracle Cloud certifications in OIC, ERP, or HCM.
- Prior experience in enterprise-scale Oracle Cloud implementations.
